No. You do not need any tech skills at all. This stage is designed for complete beginners. Everything is explained in simple language and I show you exactly where to click and what to do. If you can follow step by step instructions, you can build your website.
Yes. The whole goal of this stage is to help you build your website without feeling overwhelmed. You get clear lessons, templates, checklists and support so you always know what to do next. Most students are surprised at how achievable it feels once they have guidance.
You will need hosting and a domain name, which I walk you through. Everything else we use in the Build stage can be done with free tools. If you choose to add paid plugins or themes later, that is completely up to you and not required.
Everyone is different. Many students complete their site within a few weeks. Because this is a self paced programme, you can move through the steps as quickly or as slowly as you need. What matters is that you keep moving forward. The lessons make it much easier to stay on track.
You will not be left alone. You get access to support, live help, and a community where you can ask questions. You also receive checklists and visual guides to help you understand each step. If something does not make sense, I am here to help you through it.
Once your website is built, you can move into Stage Two: Maintain. This is where you learn how to look after your site, update it safely, protect it, and keep everything running smoothly.
