Blogging for beginners & why WordPress is a MUST

Blog is an abbreviation of “Web Log”  basically the idea of a journal for business.  However, when we think of journal we might think talking about our thoughts or sharing our day to day.

Blogging with WordPress is actually so much more than that, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be something where you’re divulging your deepest darkest moments.

In fact, It can be used as:

  • An amazing tool for business.
  • A digital library which you can refer people to, that the search engines can crawl.

Every blog post you create has it’s own permanent link on your website.

And instead of complicated sorting systems, your blog content is listed chronologically, with each post having the ability to be categorized and optimised.

Your blog will act as a way to give your audience (both new prospects & existing)

  • more ways to find you on the search,
  • more reasons to revisit your site
  • more ways to learn about you & your business
  • more ways to build know like and trust.

Why WordPress?

WordPress was intentionally designed as a blogging platform, however over the years evolved into so much more – with people using it more and more these days to create basic website and more.

WordPress is used by 40% of the world’s websites, it’s super search engine friendly and performs exceptionally well on the search due to it’s lightweight build. The core self-hosted version of WordPress is free to use. However you do need to have Reliable WordPress hosting & a Domain.
